The Mission

A Premium boxing club proudly teaching the sweet science of boxing in a mature, calm & relaxed environment. The gentleman's sport taught at Rose Boxing is focused on technique & the correct application of ring strategies. Competitively or for enjoyment of the art.

We are a traditional boxing club, for us this means protecting & teaching you, not bashing you.

Fighting is for idiots, we box - learn the difference.

Coach Paul & Ari.

The 4 Step Preparation Process

We have two league's. A-league who compete & B-league who do not. Each follow our 4-step process allowing a focused fight camp for A's and a relaxed approached to learning for B's.

Both leagues work harmoniously together in a 24/7 access facility.

Club Training
5-7am MT TF

Like Coached sessions, you can arrive/depart anytime. During this time the stable mates work together practicing drills that were set by coaches during the coached session, Coaches will work sporadically with individuals when there but generally these sessions are inspired by the athletes themselves. This produces boxers who can think for themselves which is exactly what's needed in the ring. Consider this homework from the coached session!

Interclub Sparring

as required

Firstly, there is no expectation for any club member to spar or compete. When your skills are of a suitable level where you can protect yourself & last a minimum of 3 x 2min x 60sec rounds. You can attend your first interclub to watch, then your second interclub you can participate in sparring. Some club members do not spar, rather attend to support there stable mates, creating a supportive community.

All club members arrive/depart at anytime time during the advertised period, training for as long or as little as they like, there is no pressure around this. Do your own warm up, once ready, put all your gear on and present to the coach. The Coached session is skills focused, throwing the right punch at the right time with coordinated footwork. There is no conditioning in this session.

That's what club training & fight camps are for.

Coached Sessions
5-7am W

Club members who aim to compete are expected to complete a successful & gruelling conditioning based fight camp which can run between 4 & 10 weeks at a time. Competing boxers are considered our A-league during camp. Club members who are not competing are considered our B-League and work with A’s to help prepare them in both skills/drills & conditioning. B’s are encouraged to attend fight camp sessions but not expected to.
